I used to plug and swear by Grisoft's AVG but this comes highly
recommended and no I have not received payment to promote it.....

I am still evaluating it so if you do not wish to be a guinea pig then
stick to Grisoft's AVG........

I know many people using Avast though I have found that whilst it is updating it does tend to slow down laptops a great deal. _________________

can I also make a mention of C Cleaner, from Piriform - it used to be called CrapCleaner - self-explanatory I think I've been using this on all my rigs, excellent piece of FREE software that cleans out loads of...well, crap
